What We Do
At Integrative Art Therapy, we provide formal psychological evaluation for PTSD and referral-based intensive trauma therapy services for children (7+) and adults. These services are in an "intensive" style - meaning we meet online or hybrid for 20 hours over two weeks. However, more than one intensive may be booked in advance. Our guided treatment protocol is based on the Instinctual Trauma Response (ITR): an integrative art-based trauma therapy method that includes
- grounding breathwork
- safe-place visualization
- sensory integration
- somatic work
- parts psychology through Externalized Dialog (ExD)
- narrative art therapy/Graphic Narrative (GN)

At Integrative Art Therapy, LLC, Dr. Desai and Dr. Zettler administer the CAPS-5, the gold standard measurement tool, to evaluate and formally diagnose for CPTSD and PTSD.
